With spectacular panoramic views of the Vesuvius, the Gulf of Naples and the paradise islands of Ischia and Capri, the Excelsior enjoys an enviable, unrivalled and privileged position. Opened at the end of January 1908, after being built in a record time of ten months, this hotel is pure luxury, nobility and refinement.

      Its classicism spills into every corner of the hotel: Murano glass lamps, Carrara marbles, silk fabrics and coverings... This is why for many decades the Excelsior is a favourite spot for artists, actors, intellectuals and other celebrities visiting the city.       OUR MOMENT Singular & Cultural

      • The Eurostars Hotel Excelsior is a palace situated on the Neapolitan coast, built in the 19th century following the unification of Italy. It opened its doors at the end of January 1908, during an inauguration attended by members of the nobility and personalities from around the world.

        With over 110 years of history, this palace has weathered two world wars without losing an ounce of its elegance. It functioned as the Presidium of the Red Cross during the First World War and faced bombing during the Second World War, initially serving as a hospital and later as the headquarters for American troops. Following these tragic events, it reopened in 1947 with a new interior inspired by the Belle Époque.
