      Pousada de A Lanzada

      Pousada da Lanzada is located in the isthmus of the peninsula of O Grove. It provides amazing views over the beach of A Lanzada, often considered one of the most beautiful beaches of Galicia. Pousada da Lanzada is an idyllic four-star establishment in dream location with 23 brand-new rooms. Furthermore, the Pousada has direct access to the beach through an underground passage that crosses the road.

      The two floor building of Pousada da Lanzada is built with granite masonry and has a long history in the region of Salnés. From 1927, the building was home of the hospital Gil Casares for people suffering from tuberculosis because the setting was really appealing for its climate and its waters. Later on, the building was a school for deaf-mute people. In the last decades it was used as a centre of occupational training in hotel management of the Pontevedra's deputation. Currently, the building was completely remodelled and adapted to its new use as a luxurious establishment. Pousada da Lanzada opened its doors in 2015, under the management of Grupo Hotusa.

      Now, Pousada da Lanzada is reopening its doors as a luxury hotel after a full renovation and refurbishment that has maintained the building’s historical charm. In addition to its beautiful surroundings, Pousada da Lanzada also has a carefully manicured garden, large breakfast room and open-air cark park for guests.

      It is right on the beach and just 5 km. from the centre of O Grove. Guests can also easily visit the centre of Sanxenxo, just 11 km away.
