The Eurostars Embassy is located right on one of the busiest thoroughfares in the Austrian capital, the Landstrasser Hauptstrasse avenue. It is very close to the Belvedere palace and gardens, as well as the famous Viennese Prater, with its typical, giant Ferris wheel, and the amusing Hundertwasserhaus. It is also close to the Danube and the legendary Ernst Happel Stadium where the Spanish soccer team won the European Championship in 2008.
Other nearby attractions include the Kurssalon, the monument to Johann Strauss and the large number of theatres and cultural centres. The hotel is less than 200 metres from the bus stop from where you can have easy access to any of the important tourist sites, such as the Schönbrunn Palace, the State Opera House, the Spanish Riding School, the Liechtenstein Museum, the Imperial Palace of Hofburg or the Mariahilferstrasse shopping street, the longest in Europe.
Apart from all the Austrian authorities and international embassies, Vienna houses the headquarters of a large range of international organisms, such as the OPEP, OSCE (Organization for European Security and Cooperation), OIEA (International Atomic Energy Organization) and various United Nations agencies, amongst others the UNICITRAL (International Business Rules & Regulations) and UNODC (UN Office against Drugs & Crime).
