      The Eurostars Araguaney Hotel is a prestigious five-stars located in the centre of Santiago de Compostela. Founded in 1985, from the very beginning it became synonymous with elegance and distinction and nowadays is, without any doubt, the establishment of reference in the capital of Galicia.

      The Eurostars Araguaney has 81 fully equipped rooms, combining some in classical style with others offering a more avant-garde ambiance. The hotel has a swimming pool, gym, sauna, private car park and all kinds of amenities for its guests, including an unsurpassable riding complex for enjoying sessions mounted on superb horses.

      It is an ideal hotel for celebrating business and family events. Various lounges with capacity to cater for large numbers of guests are available.

      The Caney Restaurant, of renown in Santiago, serves excellent dishes enabling one to enjoy the best traditional cuisine from Galicia and others from different cultures.

      Our name, Araguaney, evokes far-off lands. The araguaney (tabebuia chrysantha) is the tree that symbolizes Venezuela, which bears very attractive yellow flowers. In the Arab world, the term ‘aryuani’ defines a very bright yellow colour. The araguaney is the hotel’s inspiring essence because in one sole denomination it unites Arab colours and luxuriant Latin American vegetation. Araguaney was the name chosen by the founder of the hotel, Ghaleb Jaber Ibrahim, long settled in Compostela, who is of Palestinian origin and has a Venezuelan wife.

      An unmistakable identity mark of the Eurostars Araguaney is its passion for art. Along the corridors and in the guest rooms hang works by artists such as Quintana Martelo, Antón Patiño or Felipe Criado.

        On the subject of banquets, if the customer so wishes, the hotel can also take care of the photography, the invitations, decoration, protocol, etc.
