    Beyond its accommodation offering, Casa Recimil has revived its historic livestock-farming tradition to become the starting point of a unique initiative. This ox-breeding project in Galicia combines Galician livestock-farming tradition, respect for the natural environment and a strong commitment to quality produce, resulting in renowned Galician ox meat supplied to some of the region’s most distinguished gastronomic venues.

    Rural heritage of Galicia

    At Casa Recimil, the animals are raised in semi-freedom, alternating between the Galician pastures and the estate's facilities. This model of respectful livestock farming is based on animal welfare and respect for natural growth cycles.

    This project helps restore and enhance a historic estate linked to the rural heritage of Galicia. The continuity of its productive activity contributes to preserving the identity of the surrounding area and keeping alive a tradition that is closely connected to the land.
