Galician Essence

Leiro is a charming Galician village located in the heart of the Ribeira Sacra, surrounded by green mountains and valleys. The landscape, dominated by the vines that give rise to the region's prestigious wines, defines the character of this corner of Ourense. Walking around the area is a true pleasure, especially along the banks of the Avia River or following one of the many hiking trails that cross forests and viewpoints. One of its most surprising spots is the Pena Corneira mountain range, a Natural Monument for its granite formations shaped by time.
