The CAC or City of Arts and Sciences symbolizes like no other, a civic expression of notable evolution lived by Valencia in the last few years. Built upon the Turia River, this public space invites the visitor to approach it from the most genuine enthusiasm and rational passion. Science, technology, nature, spectacles and animal world constitutes the daily agenda of the City of Arts and Sciences.

The CAC is composed of five sections: The Hemispheric (with an IMAX theater for digital projections), the Umbracle (garden viewer), The Science Museum Príncipe Felipe (museum and interactive science center), the Oceanographic (with more than 500 species, the biggest aquarium in Europe) and the Palau of Arts Reina Sofia (for musicals and opera).

Color, tradition and fire is used to celebrate the festivities in Valencia. From the 15th until the 19th of March Valencia lights with this special festivity, part of the International Tourist Interest. In the Fallas all the social criticism is characterized with ninot figures representing the most important events and characters of the year which are then burned in front of the public.

From the Fallas one can be overwhelmed by several of its acts, like the fireworks of the despertá and mascletá that mix the smell of the gunpowder with the explosion noise. There is also space for other activities such as the Nit del Foc Offering. However, the most symbolic event is without a doubt the cremá in which all the monuments except one are burned.

The extraordinary bet for the sports offer in the city of Valencia started a few years ago with the American Cup and the Grand Prix, two events that complement the city.

The Valencia Formula 1 Gran Prix has a singular urban circuit with more than 5 km of length and twenty-five curves that tour the city and the port. Besides the Formula 1 Grand Prix, Valencia celebrates another equally attractive event for the motor fans: the Valencia Gran prix of 125, 250 cc and MotoGP that is held in Cheste during the month of November.
