Latin Quarter
The Latin Quarter (or Quartier Latin) is the most cosmpolitan district in Paris. It attracts the youth as well as all types of tourism that looks for a particular atmosphere. Until the French Revolution, Latin was spoken in the Latin Quarter, and from there comes its name. The Latin Quarter is fixed in the memories of the Parisians by the happenings that derived from the French student revolution in May and its relationship with the Sorbonne University.

Today the Latin Quarter is a different one partly for presence of the franchises that have reshaped its singular character. With all this, it is a must in Paris. Even though the prices of its cafes might scare away, it is a traditional place to enjoy a morning coffee. At night, the Latin Quarter features interesting alternatives with a well known reputation in Paris.
Cabarets
The attraction that the cancan skirts still generate in the public makes Paris a perfect place to enjoy this type of shows with dinner. Among them a name reveals as fundamental: The Moulin Rouge (82 Boulevard de Clichy, Montmartre), the most famous red windmill in the world

Besides The Moulin Rouge, the visitor may also enjoy the famous Lido Cabaret in Paris (116 Champs Elysees Avenue), the spicy Crazy Horse (7 Place de l'Alma) and the historic Paradis Latin (28 Rue du Cardinal Lemoine). The dinner and show of the Cabaret is usually over 100€ per person.
Louvre
The Louvre Palace is the most important gallery in Paris, and perhaps in the world. It is impossible to contemplate its documental deepness in one day. In its interior the visitor will find some of the most representative works of mankind, among which are The Mona Lisa, The Venus de Milo, Samothrace Victory, The Wedding Feast at Cana, Liberty Guiding the People, The Raft of the Medusa, Cupid and Psyche, The Portrait of the Artist Holding a Thistle, The Parade with a Fatted Ox, and many others, as well as Egyptian and Islamic art, an Oriental antiques.

The Louvre Palace is in addition to all an architectonic wonder and the crystal pyramid that serves as its entrance is its trademark, once the polemic that surrounded it was overcome. The Louvre is a compulsory visit in Paris.
